While working in Sydney as a restorer, finisher and maker, I completed a trade certificate in french polishing and a Certificate IV in craft design, development and production at Hornsby TAFE. I was then accepted into the Diploma of Visual Arts at Canberra School of Art (now the ANU School of Art & Design) under George Ingham in the Wood workshop. During 2003-2005, I completed a Graduate Diploma which focused on ergonomic performance seating for musicians, working across the School of Art, School of Music and the Material Sciences Lab (School of Engineering) ANU.

My practice encompasses the design and making of commissioned works and batch production items, as well as restoration and conservation of furniture, objects and architectural pieces. I also make exhibition-specific pieces for curated shows. I aim to use best practice techniques to achieve objects of high aesthetic value and lasting built integrity.
